Nintendo Releases – March 13, 2025 – Update

Last week, we somehow overlooked Vs Mystery Tower, the arcade adaptation of the Famicom’s Mystery Tower, which slipped into the Archives under our radar.

As I look back, it’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since I both settled into my current home and received that pivotal invitation from Neal to start writing for NWR. You’d think today would bring a Chrono Trigger re-release or perhaps even the Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition preloads, but alas, those are still on the horizon for Thursday. And while we’ve got the early access for MLB 2025 hitting the streets on Friday, don’t expect the Toronto Blue Jays to channel the legendary 1927 Yankees—unfortunately for Jays fans, they’re not the powerhouse people were hoping for. So, what’s actually catching our eye this week?

To be honest, not much. There’s a sparse field of releases that really pique my interest, except for the adventure title On Your Tail, which seems set for Europe—no word yet on a North American debut. Plus, a slew of comic apps rolls out in Japan. Perhaps, Fate: Reawakened might stir something in those eagerly waiting for Silksong.
