Sure thing, let’s give this a whirl.

Alright, so I’ve got this new setup, like a top-secret machine from the future, and what do I do? I dive straight into retro-land with games like Wind Waker. Seriously, who needs cutting-edge when the GameCube is calling? Sure, I’m all about that Switch 2 life now, but I swear, those pixels speak to me. Knockout Tours, though, they really flatten a guy.
And—ugh—I’m fighting this wild urge to buy Cyberpunk. I mean, I have plenty to play already. But! It just looks so shiny. Wallets everywhere, beware!

I’m neck-deep in Cyberpunk 2077, cruising around Night City like it’s my personal playground. Playing such an intense game while I’m, you know, waiting for my laundry at the laundromat—is just wild. It’s like handheld dreams are happening, but hey, tech surprise of the century, right?
Also, back on the GameCube nostalgia train with The Wind Waker and F-Zero GX on Nintendo Switch Online. Pairing it with a wireless controller feels like I’ve opened a portal back to teenage Ollie’s happy place. Time travel is real, folks! Or something like it.

Okay, so, Mario Kart World? Yeah, let’s just say it’s not going as planned. I’ve barely peeled through the 100cc cups. But! A big karting showdown’s on the calendar this weekend. I’ll be free-roaming like a wild child while my kids try (and fail, obviously) to dethrone me. Aspiring racers, those two.
Oh, and Split Fiction—it’s on the list too. Haven’t touched it, but rumors say the Switch 2 port isn’t too shabby, even at 30fps. Couch co-op night with the missus is calling. Weekend vibes, you all. Enjoy!

So, the Switch 2? It’s giving me flashbacks to Wii U days. Weird, right? Back then, all I had was Breath of the Wild and Fast RMX. But now, this bad boy is loaded with gems like Mario Kart World. And yeah, I’m finally catching up on Cyberpunk 2077 and Yakuza 0.
But then, STEAM Next Fest pops up and—hello, future—I’m looking at you, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. Potential GOTY 2025 right there! And what about Cleared Hot? It’s the Desert Strike for today’s gamers. TRON: Catalyst is next weekend’s adventure. Hot Summer incoming!

Yep, still in Mario Kart World’s web. Collectibles everywhere. Yet, I sneak-started another game on Switch 2—Deltarune. Chapter 3 nearly had me falling off my chair laughing. It’s TV time, folks! Missing Kris, Susie, and Ralsei more than I realized.
Also, reviewing a mystery game from the Switch 1 era. But, you know, more on that later. Weekend’s here, peeps. Have fun out there!

All geared up for Switch 2 anticipated Mario Kart World was my main hype, but somehow Zelda: Breath of the Wild snagged all my free time. It just feels—better. Glyph-hunting with my little one next to me feels like a grand adventure, you know? Divine Beasts, here we come. Besides, Mario Kart World isn’t going anywhere fast, right?
So that’s how we’re rolling this weekend. What about you? Drop your weekend game plans below!
