Alright, here we go. So, get this—The Sims 4 has this new expansion, Enchanted by Nature, and we finally, like finally, got our first peek. Maxis and EA promised a trailer today, and boom, there it is. We’ll dive deeper into all the gameplay madness on June 26, so keep your calendars marked. Or don’t, whatever floats your boat.
Okay, think about nature-inspired stuff. That’s what this expansion adds, following up on Businesses & Hobbies from March. Just when you thought they’d run out of ideas, right?
Now, this is wild—fairies are back! You remember them from The Sims 3, yeah? EA teased it, and here we are. No surprise, really. EA wouldn’t dare mess with us by hinting and then not delivering. Risky business, that.
But here’s the curveball—your Sims can drop the whole indoor life! They’ll be out there foraging, wild bathing, and snoozing under the stars. Sounds dreamy until a Sim catches one of those new quirky ailments. Haha, oops. But hey, there’s a twist—traditional remedies are in, maybe as part of this new Apothecary… thing. Is it a skill? Career? Who knows! That trailer will spill the beans later this month.
And then there’s this new world, Innisgreen. Part Ireland, part fairy tale. Squint and see Ireland, but really, it’s more like Hobbiton. Unless folks in Ireland secretly moved to treehouses and didn’t tell us? Though there’s a spot mimicking the real-deal vibe of Cobh, County Cork. You know, those colorful “Deck of Cards” houses.
Oh, there’s more! The Enchanted by Nature shindig is a slice of a bigger, let’s-call-it ‘going green’ season for Sims 4. While the pack lands July 10, a limited gig “Nature’s Calling” starts June 24 to set the mood. Plus, cue updates on July 1—more nature-y skins and custom goodies.
This all fits into the Sims 4 roadmap from June to August. Maxis talked about it last week. There’s a big update on August 19 for even more stuff to play around with. Then, another gameplay reveal hits June 26. And here we are, just waiting for it.
So, uhh, there it is. Take it or leave it.
