Sure, here it goes:

So, here we are, folks. Tokyo Game Show 2025 is about to blow our minds—or at least try. I mean, the list of companies showing up is endless. Like, seriously endless. We’ve got over 772 of them, and they’re from 46 different countries. And they’re using 4,083 booths. That’s a whole lot of gaming chatter.
Now, I dunno if this is just me geeking out or what, but the hype is real. Bigger than last year? Heck yes. It’s like the convention ate a power-up or something. If numbers are your thing, I guess this’ll make you happy.
Let’s chat about the big names. Microsoft is coming, yep. Heard it on some translated website, probably via Gematsu or something. They’ll bring all the Xbox goodies. New titles? Sure, why not. Maybe they will surprise us. Or maybe they’ll just stick to the usual script. We’ll see.
And hey, Sony, Sega, Square Enix, and Capcom are on deck too. Typical. Grab your popcorn; it’s gonna be a wild ride. The whole shindig kicks off September 25 and runs through September 28, 2025. Mark those calendars, if you’re the forgetful type. Like me. I sometimes forget my own birthday.
Anyway, there’s this whole saga with Xbox. Last year at the show, Microsoft was the life of the party. Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on Xbox? Yup. Then we got this JRPG, Threads of Time, that kinda shouted out to Chrono Trigger fans. Starcraft went to PC Game Pass, which was neat. And a few more big reveals. Ah, what a time to be alive.
Fast forward—boom! The vibe’s… well, different. Xbox is in a pickle. Layoffs, projects canned, developers confused—basically a mess. Microsoft tossed 9,000 people out the door! What even is happening? And all because of some big AI investment plan. Am I getting that right? It’s a whirlwind.
The Xbox community is ticked, and I can’t blame ’em. Trust is shaky. Some even wonder if Xbox Game Pass is just a money sink. Could be, could not be. I’m no financial whiz.
Will we see Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Xbox at this year’s show? Maybe. Fingers crossed. Oh, and the image of Sephiroth is catchy on the announcements. Credit to Square Enix for that.
Point is, Microsoft better step up if they want fans back on their side. The gaming world’s watching, and, well, my attention span is all over the place. But even I notice when drama unfolds.
I keep telling myself to focus on the games—not the biz side. But with what’s happening, it’s tough to ignore. I just wish Xbox would rally back. You know, get outta this funk and give us the good stuff.
Why do I care so much? I just don’t want my gaming buddies to bail on Xbox. We’re sharing good times, like that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide session. Would hate to play Helldivers 2 solo. Oh, the horror.
Anyway (or was it back to the point?), let’s see what unfolds. Good, bad, whatever—Tokyo Game Show 2025 will have its stories. And maybe, just maybe, Xbox will toss in some delightful surprises. Here’s hoping.
