Oh man, so get this—”Once Human” is finally hitting PlayStation and Xbox, but not until 2026. Wild, right? It’s been a PC and mobile thing all this time, cooked up by those creative folks at NetEase’s Starry Studio. It’s been a thing since July 2024 on Steam, and it was like… bam! Over 230K people playing at the same time when it launched. Yeah, I wish I was one of them, but I was probably stuck in some Netflix vortex.
Anyway—wait, where was I? Oh right—it’s one of those big deals for NetEase, just hanging out with games like “Marvel Rivals” and, um, “Naraka: Bladepoint”? They’ve kept it going with all these updates, so now there’s still like 30,000 people hanging out every day on Steam. It’s kind of like that one friend who never leaves your apartment because, hey, they’ve got nowhere else to be.
So, the console leap! They threw a pretty loud party—or stream, whatever—on July 2, 2025, telling us about the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions gearing up for next year. “Nearing completion,” they said. Pretty sure my old college projects were never at that stage. There’s a wishlist thingy for early-bird rewards too, so console folks better hit that up for some goodies.
Oh, and if you’re like me and switch between screens every five minutes, good news! You can use your existing PC or mobile account on these consoles. Sweet, right? But it might lag a bit getting all synced up with the other versions—typical sibling rivalry stuff.
Okay, so more stuff—I got distracted by a fly or something—anyway, next year is going to be big for console players. They’re aiming to pull the same magic they did with mobile, which, by the way, scored some pretty stellar ratings. Trying not to be jealous of all the iOS and Android folks who give it like 4.6 and 4.5 out of 5 stars respectively.
Right now, if you’re twiddling thumbs, there’s this Version 2.0 update or something—they dropped it during the livestream. New class system, Endless Dream PvE—whatever that means—and this fun-sounding Dreamland Wonder event. I have no idea what’s new there but hey, might check it out if I can flee my usual doom-scrolling session.
Phew, did I cover everything? Hope so. I’m off to grab a coffee or maybe just stare out the window for a second. Or ten. Who knows.
