Man, it’s wild how game devs just spring stuff on you. So, I was chilling last night, right after scribbling some notes about Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest patch. Oh, it seemed like your usual boring update. But then, bam! Out of nowhere, they drop this crazy news about what’s called Everdark Sovereigns. No heads-up, nothing!
These fights are basically your standard Nightlord boss fights on steroids. And you have to have beaten the original baddies first. Yeah, no shortcuts here. First up, we’ve got the Gaping Jaws (Adel) boss — sounds like a dental nightmare if you ask me — he’s live now. And next? We’ll be facing down Sentient Pest and then Darkdrift Knight. I know, right? Those names. But it’s not like I named them.
FromSoftware is probably cackling behind the scenes, cooking up Sovereign versions of more baddies — Tricephalos, Augur, and others. No exact info on when they’re dropping, but I’m sure those whispered rumors will hit us soon enough.
Oh, there’s a twist! You know the real kicker? Beat these souped-up bosses and you’re rewarded with something called Sovereign Sigils. Trade them with this mysterious new NPC character — who seems to have popped up overnight — for cool relics and stuff. First time rewards? Bonus Sigils! Who doesn’t love freebies? This NPC dude can even mess with the Shifting Earth/Map Events dynamics, but again, Sigils required. Always a catch, huh?
There’s bound to be more secrets lurking as players spend endless hours battling through these challenges. Haven’t beaten them? No shame in using guides, trust me. Totally makes a difference.
And hey, if you need directions, check out the usual playthrough guide. Just avoid stressing too much over it. It’s supposed to be fun, right?
