GPD Confirms First AMD Strix Halo Handheld Gaming PC — Teases Ryzen AI Max+ 395 in Performance Video

Alright, so there’s this funky little handheld device called the GPD WIN 5. Yeah, sounds like some sci-fi gadget, right? Anyway, they just teased it with a cool AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip inside. Honestly, I can’t stop thinking about how fancy that sounds.

So, there’s this clip — just a quick peek, and someone’s gaming away on Black Myth: Wukong. The game’s running at an insane 170 to 212 fps. I mean, those numbers are like, what? Makes you wonder if your eyes would even keep up.

They dropped the news at CES 2025. AMD’s ‘Strix Halo’ chips, they’re calling ‘em. Wild name, right? These things are featuring some RDNA 3.5 graphics magic plus Zen 5 cores.
