Hey, so guess what? PlayStation’s Summer Sale is coming up soon. I mean, who doesn’t love a good sale, right? It starts on July 16 at some ungodly hour like midnight or something. But anyway, there’s gonna be a ton of deals on PS5 and PS4 games, and a bunch of add-ons too. Don’t ask me why, but I always seem to remember random dates like these.
You’re looking at stuff like EA Sports FC 25, which is almost ridiculously cheap at 79% off. That’s for both PS5 and PS4, by the way. And can you believe Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is also on the list? That one’s 45% off. Man, all these editions and bundles can get confusing. Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Yep, 25% off. Oh, and Forza Horizon 5 is also discounted, how convenient if you’re into racing. There’s this game called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 which, honestly, never heard of it until now, at 10% off. Anyway, you get the drift.
But wait, there’s probably even more games out there I missed here. You might wanna check when the sale’s actually on. You gotta visit their site—if you remember, of course—when the sale drops to scour through the complete list. Who knows what gaming escapade you’ll find?
Meanwhile, over in the U.K. and some parts of Europe, they’re also doing some wild stuff on direct.playstation.com. Like, they’re slashing prices on console deals too. Starts July 16 and runs until the end of the month—assuming they don’t run out, I guess. It’s kinda a big deal since they’re cutting €50/£45 off a standard PS5 and even more for a digital one.
Games, consoles, all the goodies are in on it, including familiar names like Gran Turismo 7 and God of War: Ragnarök. Plus, you get free standard shipping, which I guess is nice. What’s even funnier is in the U.K., you can sorta rent a PS5 for like £9.95 a month, player’s choice, I suppose.
And if you’re in Benelux or further south in Portugal and Spain, being a PlayStation Plus member snags you another sweet 5% off when you buy straight from PlayStation. Just be logged into your PSN, I think, for that to work.
Oh, and a heads-up—these deals might change a bit after July 29, so if you’re like me and tend to procrastinate, keep an eye on the calendar. This all wraps up on August 13, but some deals expire even earlier, so check back for any new offers and roll with whatever grabs your interest.
