I don’t even know why I’m so pumped about this, but I am. So, THQ Nordic—yeah, that gaming biggie—just dropped the news flash that they’re hitting us with their Digital Showcase 2025 on, get this, August 1st. I’m already marking my calendar, not that I usually plan that far ahead. Or at all.
Toss on your cowboy hats, fire up the ol’ engines, and maybe hold your breath a bit? That’s exactly what they’re suggesting for some reason. Anyway, it kicks off at 12pm PDT. Do your own math for your time zone—I can’t even keep them straight. Honestly, I’m just guessing it’ll take an hour or three. Or not. Who knows?
And man, they are hyping this thing with world premieres and “surprises.” Surprises? I mean, aren’t surprises supposed to be, like, unexpected by definition? So yeah. Expect the unexpected and all that jazz. Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II—sounds pretty epic. REANIMAL? No clue, but I’m intrigued. Wreckfest 2, anyone? Got my curious cap on.
Oh, and they hinted at having “a few aces” tucked away. Do people still use playing cards or is that just an old-school reference? Anyway, I’m not missing out on this. It’s like waiting for Christmas morning, if Christmas was in August and had video games. But hey, maybe it’s just me.
