You’re in this team, the ‘Deadhunters.’ Sounds like a punk band, right? Anyway, hunt zombies and help Hermann Wolff find his daughter — she’s lost in Nuremberg. Lots of lore? Meh. You’re here to shoot things. It’s more about the boom than the brains.
Skip the story? Sure, it’s mostly in loading screens. The fun is in replaying. If you team up with a buddy, even better. Co-op is life, I mean, isn’t everything more fun with a friend?
Zombies don’t stand a chance against the guns you collect. Machine guns, rifles, pistols — a gun buffet, really. Oh, and there’s this hulking machine gun with just 100 monsters to fire, err, bullets, I mean.
