Hey, so if you’re one of those Xbox Insiders with an Xbox Series X|S or a decent Windows PC, guess what? There’s a thing happening. It’s called the Rematch – Final Beta and it’s kicking off today, May 28th. I dunno, maybe you’re into that? There’s only so much space, so maybe get in there quickly if you wanna mess around in the playtest or whatever.
What Even Is This?
Alright, so Rematch. It’s not just regular ol’ football. It’s got this third-person, skill-based angle. Like, every move matters. You tackle, dribble, aim, and shoot – just like, full-on action-center vibes. No player stats here, it’s all about how sharp your skills and teamwork are. They’ve somehow crammed legit football mechanics with a bit of an arcade spin. The matches, as they say, are pretty fast and you won’t get bored sitting around. They’ve designed it for online multiplayer with competitive modes and the whole seasonal thing. Also, they claim it’s easy to start but tough to master. Classic, right?
If this kind of stuff makes you wanna know more, they have a fancy official website to check out.
When and How?
So, heads up. Starts on Wednesday, May 28 at like, 5 in the morning PT and wraps up on Saturday, May 31 at the same early hour.
Joining the Party
If you’re already in front of your Xbox Series X|S or PC, just log into the Xbox Insider Hub app. Don’t have it? Install it. Simple as that. Then you’ll want to go: Previews > Rematch Beta > Join. Wait a bit, let the thing do its thing, and then boom, you’re directed to the Store to install the Closed Beta. Just remember, it’s first-come, first-served. So don’t dawdle. And I think it’s only available on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PC.
Got Thoughts?
And if something doesn’t seem right while you’re playing, there’s a way to shout about it. Hold down the home button on your Xbox controller. Hit "Report a problem." Choose the Games category and the Rematch subcategory. Fill out the form with what you find, so they can figure things out.
Stay in the Loop
For more nuggets of info, follow them on X/Twitter at @XboxInsider. There’s also the blog for other announcements and stuff. Feel free to hang out and chat on the Xbox Insider SubReddit. Seems like a solid way to keep connected.
Anyway, hope this helps in whatever you’re planning to do with it!
