Anticipating the Next Sequel’s Cover Star

I mean, bank on Noob Saibot making the cover if they keep this storyline cooking.

Of course, Scorpion or Liu Kang are the vanilla choices for the next cover. Scorpion’s practically the face of the franchise. Everybody knows the guy, even if you don’t play games. And Liu Kang? He’s just graced the recent one. No brainer really.

And then, Orin’s this dragon from Edenia—a stretch from the past shows. She popped up in some expansion or other. What are the odds she makes it onto the cover? Slim, but if she winds up mattering big time in a sequel, maybe they’ll spotlight her.

Now, let’s talk about Mortal Kombat 1—it didn’t exactly win everyone over. Fans weren’t thrilled with the missing lineup, folks like Kano and Sonya Blade being no-shows. NetherRealm might just slap every character on the next cover to win back the crowd. Sort of like, “Hey, look, we’ve got everyone this time!”
