Okay, so here we are again, another month and boom, the PS Store throws out another sales event. They’ve got awesome deals and, surprise surprise, some epic PS4 and PS5 games are up for grabs. All you comic freaks out there, Marvel games are in the mix. Yeah, the whole family can dive into this one.
Right, let’s talk about Lego Marvel Collection. Why? Because it’s only $8.99! Like, what? Usually, you’d be coughing up $59.99. Honestly, this discount sounds unreal. And, if you’re one of those who always procrastinates, maybe set an alarm or something because this deal’s vanishing into thin air on June 5 at 2:59 a.m. ET. And I have no idea why they picked such a weird time, but there you have it.
So, what’s in the box? Three games: Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. Plus, you get all the season pass goodies. Video game marathons, anyone? Sounds like the kind of chaos your family might actually enjoy together.
The first game’s all about you grabbing a bunch of characters and, you know, saving the world from Loki. Why? Because he’s scheming — typical day in the Marvel universe, right? Then there’s Avengers, where you dive into stories from blockbuster movies. Nostalgia, anyone?
And then, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 throws you into this wild ride with Kang the Conqueror. You’re bouncing through time and realities — like, time-travel messiness galore. Superheroes and supervillains duking it out across timelines. It’s exactly as chaotic as it sounds.
These games dropped in 2013, 2016, and 2017. Yeah, been around for a while but still kicking. Review scores? Pretty decent. The first one’s sitting on an 80 score, while the second and third ones didn’t fare too shabby either. Metacritic can back me up on this.
Anyway, there’ll be more PS4 and PS5 deals popping up, so maybe keep peeking back at the PS Store. Who knows what they’ll drop next?
