The other day, I fired up my PlayStation 5 to dive into the second chapter of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage from DON’T NOD. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna get lost in some time-travel saga that swings between the ’90s and the 2020s? Oh, and spoiler alert? Never mind, I’ll keep quiet on that front.
I remember jumping into Lost Records: Bloom and Rage – Tape 1 with all the excitement of a kid in a candy store, so naturally, I was itching to see where Tape 2 would take me. Somehow, I ended up obsessing over Swann’s camera. Like, who does that? But hey, there’s something oddly satisfying about capturing those little moments, weaving those memories. It’s like piecing together fragments of someone’s life. Or maybe I just love collecting virtual trophies. Yeah, trophies. All 44 Bronze, 2 Silver, and 3 Gold of them. Why? Who knows. There’s something poetic about chasing imaginary medals.
Anyway, you can go trophy-hunting here—Dial a specific number? Check. Beat some clock-related challenge? Sure thing. I got sidetracked with a magic eye book, trying to spot something hidden—trust me, it’s way trippier than you’d imagine.
I should mention, the pace in Tape 2 feels… faster? Well, maybe because now I’m best buds with Swann, Autumn, Nora, and Kat. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. Choices matter, they say—what you decide affects your story, like some real butterfly effect saga. The end, when it comes around, ties everything up before you’re hit with credits. Emotional rollercoaster much?
And as the saying goes—the best things in life aren’t fleeting digital adventures, but whatever. Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is up for grabs on PlayStation 5. Costs $39.99, so I guess start saving or skip a couple of lattes.
Oh yeah, nearly forgot. DON’T NOD was kind enough to hook me up with a review copy. So, thanks, wherever you folks are.
I think that’s it. I should stop before I ramble my way into another tangent.
