Alright, so here’s the thing: Intel apparently isn’t calling it quits with their Battlemage lineup just yet. Nope, we’re getting another GPU — and it might just shake up the whole mainstream market scene. Maybe.
## Rumors on the Street: Intel’s Arc B770 Desktop GPU
Intel’s been a bit slow on the GPU race compared to AMD and NVIDIA. We’re talking about those hyped releases like AMD’s RX 9060 and NVIDIA’s RTX 5060. But hang on! Intel’s not out for the count. Word on the street (thanks to some whispers from Japan’s Gazlog) is there’s a new player headed our way: the Arc B770, built on the “BMG-G31” thingy — whatever that means.
So, get this. A few weeks back, a bunch of shipping manifests popped up, spilling the beans. Basically, these BMG-G31 silicon dies were on their merry way to Intel’s place in Vietnam. Apparently, that’s ground zero for making the fancy Limited Edition GPUs. And why do folks think it’s the Arc B770? Well, they’ve wrapped up the B5XX series, so logically, what’s next? The B770, duh.
Now — oh! Did I mention OneRaichu? Some bigwig leaker dude (or dudette) who has a knack for being right about these things, says the B770 is definitely strutting our way. And maybe — just maybe — it’ll have around 24-32 Xe2 cores with a snazzy 256-bit memory bus and 16GB GDDR6 memory. Kinda cool, right? But who knows, they might also toss this silicon into AI/pro GPUs. Nothing’s set in stone, really.
Anyway, we might get the big reveal at Computex 2025 soon. And yeah, I’ll be there, probably clutching a coffee like my life depends on it, waiting to see what trick Intel pulls from its hat. Buckle up, folks. Team Blue’s got something brewing. Or do they? Guess we’ll find out.
