So, last fall – or was it more like winter? Who can remember – there was this thing with the Switch Online trial. And hey, now it’s coming around again. Yep, more spots for trying out the app. Not gonna lie, I forgot it existed for a while. Anyway, if you’re on the Expansion Pack and you’re over 18 as of 6 p.m. ET today (I can barely keep track of times anymore), you can apply. Starts at 11 a.m. Monday, and you’ve got ’til 10:59 a.m. Wednesday to jump in. Now, this bit is interesting: in Japan, there’s some lottery business going on, but elsewhere it’s a free-for-all. Get in quick.
Okay, so here’s the deal. From 9 p.m. ET on July 28 until 9:59 p.m. on August 10, the thing’s on. Three big changes from the last time – yes, three! First, they’re letting 40,000 people play instead of just 10,000. Second, they’re adding a bunch of countries: Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and I think a couple more – maybe Mars next? And oh, you can apply in groups now, up to four people. Makes it sound like some sort of ghost hunting team or something. Anyway, where was I? Hang on… oh right. I think it’s cool they’re doing this again. Whether or not I’ll remember to sign up this time is another story.
