Eventually, we landed on the idea of a remaster to celebrate Fate’s 20th year, a tribute to its rich heritage and nostalgic charm.

Significant technological advancements since 2005 meant that Fate, while still enjoyable, could be enhanced for contemporary platforms. This venture into console gaming and expanded language accessibility opened doors to a brand-new audience.

A Delicate Undertaking

Revamping such a beloved series is no small feat, but the essence of Fate was always off-limits. The mission with Fate: Reawakened was to refine what fans already loved about the series.

We took a significant leap by showcasing an alpha demo at PAX West 2024. Here, we encountered a mix of new and longtime fans, all eager to share their experiences.
